The Irish National Country Fair is a two-day, family orientated event which showcases Irish rural life & country sports. It is the occasion when the town comes to the country in celebration of our country heritage. Enjoy fishing and shooting events, gundog events and competitions and horses and hounds. Savour the flavours at the Food Festival, shop at the Irish Crafts Fair or just browse around the 200 plus stalls offering everything a wide range of country products. For the children there is the air show, birds of prey, ponies, dogs & ducks and even a petting farm. We have traditional music and lots of have-a-go events such as archery, shotgun shooting, fly casting, pottery making and even flying the birds of prey. The Irish National Country Fair has something for everyone. It's run over the August Bank Holiday weekend and makes for the perfect day out for young and old alike.
