Winter Craft Fair at the Burnavon

The Winter Craft Fair is back at the Burnavon Arts and Cultural Centre for its 4th year on Friday 19th and Saturday 20th November 2010.

With over 35 fine food and craft producers showcasing their work, this is an ideal opportunity for you to get serious about Christmas shopping.

Decorative and functional ceramics, costume and precious metal jewellery, textiles to wear and for the home, original artwork and prints, wood turned giftware and irresistible soaps and beauty products will all be on offer alongside a range of delicious foods. So you are sure to find something that appeals and fits the bill.

With twelve producers taking part for the first time this year, the fair continues to showcase exciting new ranges and products - watch out for LyndaB and Susie Crooks if ceramics are your thing. Or invest in a very special new piece of jewellery by Erin McCormick or Kerry Savage.

Artists Denis and Rosemary Ferguson, Marie Woods and Andrea Hayes will be joined this year by Olwyn Colgan who works in a variety of mediums.

Those with a soft spot for textiles can chose from felted hats and brooches by Joollywoolly, Pompom’s range of gorgeous knitted accessories, bags and kidswear and Rosemary Watts beautiful hand painted silks.

Add to that a selection of hand made greetings cards and papers and an array of fine foods and home baked products. Just visit the gallery space upstairs to be tempted by the delicious ranges of jams, chutneys, salad drizzles, seasonal cordials, Christmas puddings, breads and bakes.

And to make your visit to the fair even more enjoyable we are also delighted that an abundance of local musical talent will be there to entertain you while you shop.

New products, extensive opening hours, quality musical entertainment, on site café and free parking nearby – there is simply no reason not to be there!
