The annual Guinness Cork Jazz Festival continues to go from strength to strength, attracting musicians and visitors from around the world in late October each year. It is one of Ireland's biggest and most successful cultural events and offers a superb cast of world class jazz stars who perform in the city's fine concert venues. Headliners this year include Steve Winwood, Omar Sosa, Apes and Babes, Herbie Hancock and the Brand New Heavies. There's also non stop jazz and jazz related music, day and night, in over 80 pubs, clubs and hotels throughout the Jazz Weekend, most of it admission free. I A vibrant fringe programme of master classes, workshops, exhibitions also runs during the fesitval. At the heart of the festival is the famous Guinness Festival Club with its action packed programme of great sounds on six stages, day and night. The Festival takes place in the scenic southern city of Cork, renowned for fine restaurants and splendid visitor attractions. Don't miss it this year !
